Discount grocer Aldi said it will open three new stores in South Florida in February.
The new additions will bring the grocer total South Florida stores to 14. A store at 1460 W. 49th St., in Hialeah will open Feb. 26, while stores at 19100 N.W. 27th Ave. in Miami Gardens, and at 747 S. Federal Hwy in Deerfield Beach will open Feb. 27.
Aldi is different from its competitors in several ways. Aldi doesn't accept credit cards or checks, either - only cash or debit. Its products cover the whole range from groceries to toys and tend to be very reasonable priced, much lower then any other competitor. The brands are not always familiar to the buyers but the quality is high coming form this german retailer.
And that is good news for Miami and South Florida.
